I Am Still Alive and Well (Though My Sanity Is Still In Doubt)

I have not gone full prepper and disappeared into the swamps of Florida to prepare for the end of days. There is a good reason why I have not been on line this past week, and why, after today, I will probably be off of it again for another week. My family is preparing to move to New Hampshire. I'm leaving Sunday to establish residency and find a place for us to stay, and the rest of the family (human and pets) will be joining me a few weeks later. Once I get settled in, then I will be able to get back to writing.

There is a lot to look forward to on the Hell Gate front. The sequel is still set for release for this October, and work is underway to develop an audio version of the novel. Once I unpack my computer and actually have spare time, I hope to finish off the first draft of the third Hell Gate novel (there are only 10,000 words to go). I'm already plotting out the fourth book in the series.

Thank you all for your patience. I'll be back on line soon and regaling everyone with stories of the apocalypse and bad humor.

Apocalypse Monday

The world's largest nuclear test was the detonation of a 56 megaton device conducted by the Soviet Union at Novaya Zemlya on 30 October 1961. Called the Tsar Bomba, the device generated a ninety-five-kilometer high mushroom cloud and destroyed every building in a test village thirty-four miles distant from the blast.
